THE STORY Between the years 1930-1950 there presence of the police departments and officers in the egyptians places was not so strong as they used to organize the relationships between people and to punish the illegal criminals.In these period an egyptian personality appear was called at that time (the fetewa) or the protector he was a strong man he used to fight for poor people(called el Harafish) and to take a fees from the rich people and give it to the poor ones.He also take a role in improving the relation ship between people and some times act as a judge.

The theory of Fetewa and harafish was liked by nagib Mahfouz so he wrote about 12 stories about them.the egyptian tv produced only 5 stories as films dicussing this period they are

THE MOVIE A Struggle between 2 fetewa one is good and one is evil ended up (mahmoud morsi) the evil killed his good brother (mohamed Wafik) and his son Saad (ahmed zaki) became an orphan.As the days passes saad grow and fall in love with Kamar (naglaa Fathi) who was the daughter of the evil brother but no one know this.Also the movie feature some struggles between fetewas and the struggle of saad to take his beloved.will not tell more details will leave it to you.......
