يدور الفيلم حول شخصين هما زغلول " أحمد أدم " وأدهم بك " عزت أبو عوف " الأول يعانى من الإحباط بسبب الفقر الشديد والثانى رجل أعمال ثرى تنهار حياته كلها فى لحظة واحدة عندما تتدهور أعماله وتهجره زوجته . وفى لحظة يأس يقرر كل منهما الانتحار فتجمع بينهما المصادفة لتبدأ الأحداث والمفارقات بينهم .
