El Mokhtar Jedwane was born in Rabat of a father marrakchi and a Fezia mother, bathed since he was child in the musical atmosphere.

Towards the end of 1983, Jedwane created its orchestra (violins, the battery, an electric guitar, an electronic organ); in 1987 he publishes his first album “Ana lamsikina” inspired of a song of the Arabian Gulf.
