With El Hechizo De Babilonia Luis Delgado pays his respect to the Andalucian poetry, this time to poetress´ of 12th and 13th Centuries.

Luis Delgado has set some of the most beautiful of these both rebellious and yearning poems of women to music, using delicate arrangements, mainly with authentic lutes, flutes and drums from Islamic culture.

Mariem Hassan and her sensitive voice as well as Maria del Mar Bonet and Herminia Hugenel transport us to dazzling musical landscapes where the "Babylonian spell" as the title suggests, is completely flourishing.
